Improving Access To Water

ONGC Foundation supported a rural piped water supply initiative to improve access to safe and treated drinking water for communities across 13 villages. Access to safe and reliable drinking water is essential for healthy and resilient communities. In Joranda, Dhenkanal, Odisha, the initiative was implemented in collaboration with the Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Division (RWSS), Government of Odisha. It covers 9 villages in Joranda Gram Panchayat and 4 villages in Karulia Gram Panchayat, benefiting more than 18,000 people and 3,600 households.

The initiative has improved access to safe and treated drinking water for more than 18,000 people across 13 villages. Better access to water supports health, hygiene and overall well-being.
